DINO DAYS!

 

Want to learn more about the dinosaurs that produced the fossils in the Dacotah Prairie Museum’s traveling exhibit “Tiny Titans: Dinosaur Eggs and Babies?”
Now is your chance to become a DINO EXPLORER and learn, play and experience DINO DAYS!
Each week will focus on a different dinosaur species showcased in this exciting exhibit.
Each session will consists of a tour of the exhibit and a fun activity.

 

Send in the REGISTRATION FORM to the DPM, first come - first registered.
Max 15 per ONE HOUR session class.
Meet in Museum lobby prior to session.
Call the DPM at 626.7117 with any questions.

NO CHARGE!  AGES 7-13

June 19: SESSION I - Ceratopsians: Dinosaurs with beaks!
June 26: SESSION II - Sauropods: The largest animals to walk the earth!
July 17: SESSION III - Ornithopods: When speed is the best defense!
July 24: SESSION VI - Theropods: Feathered and hollowed boned, like birds!
July 31: SESSION V - Great Oviraptor: The incredible embryo “Baby Louie!”
Aug. 7: SESSION VI - Enigma: The dinosaur that’s a mystery.

Old fashioned games and crafts, old time chores, campfire popped popcorn, a one-room schoolhouse experience, exploration of the village and more!  Bring a sack lunch and attend a one-day session, held at the Brown County Fairgrounds Centennial Village.  Registration forms can also be found at the museum.

Time: 9 am – 3 pm  Fee: $15
Register: Print and fill out form, return to DPM with registration fees.

KIDS GRANARY ART CAMP

Inspiration awaits! Take a field trip to the Granary to be an artist for the day. New theme daily. Two sessions available for many options! Register for one day or more. Held at the Granary Rural Cultural Center. Bring a sack lunch. Optional shuttle transportation provided from museum to Granary.
